Technical Texts

My goal is to translate accurately, consistently (with respect to already established Translation Memory or Terminology, and within the newly translated text), and clearly, having in mind that consumers, operators and others might actually read it

Marketing Texts

This kind of text requires also a measure of creativity. The translator needs to ask himself: What is the message, who is the reader/target group? What is the goal? Translating words is not enough, you have to transfer the original meaning and spirit, which often requires to think outside the box. Definitely, more thinking, experience and bit of talent is involved. Thanks to my experience in this field, I am now also working on several projects as a copywriter.

Internal Materials

It is painful to see the amount of inconsistencies in corporate materials, simply because too many (or just two?) translators were involved in the process. Therefore, it could be very useful for companies to use only one translator to ensure that their internal materials are easy-to-read, understandable and consistent. Another aspect of internal materials (such as trainings and courses) is that good, dynamic, “localized” translation can motivate employees to actively participate, thus ensuring stronger impact
